OVERVIEW AND EXPERIENCE
Stacy Komers was born in Southern California and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000. She then clerked for an appellate firm, Horvitz & Levy, LLC in Encino, California before enrolling in law school. She moved to Illinois to attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2004. Stacy then clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office while in law school. She became a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in 2004, where she was assigned to the Child Support Enforcement Division, Juvenile Justice Bureau, Abuse/ Neglect and Delinquency Division, and then the Felony Review Unit. Stacy entered private practice in 2011. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Governors State University. She has been licensed to practice law in California since 2005.

Stacy is licensed to practice in both Illinois and California. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
