Suspended or Revoked License

Is your driver’s license suspended or revoked? Do you know why?  At the Law Offices of Matt Fakhoury we will obtain your driver’s abstract and explain to you why your license is suspended or revoked.  In most cases, a suspension is the result of multiple traffic or parking violations.  A revocation on the other hand usually occurs when a serious offense involving a motor vehicle has been committed such as a DUI or Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.  Whether your license is suspended or revoked, The Law Offices of M. Fakhoury will not only defend your case but will attempt to clear the suspension or revocation to reinstate your license.  Contact us now for a free case review.

DUI

In the 1980s and 1990s, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol was not punished as severely as it is today.  As society’s awareness of the seriousness of DUI offenses increased, so did the penalties.  Today, DUI can be charged as either a Felony or Misdemeanor depending on the circumstances of the case. The sentence, fines, and even social stigma of being found guilty of a DUI can have life altering consequences.  Contact Matt Fakhoury, a former DUI prosecutor, to get the defense you deserve.

Clear Your Record!

Illinois, unlike most other states, allows individuals who plead guilty and receive supervision and even probation on a criminal case to eventually clear their record.  This unique area of the law is considered an expungement and if granted, both the arrest and court records are destroyed.  To be eligible for an expungment, you must meet certain criteria.  Is an old criminal case preventing you from getting a job?  Contact the Law Offices of Matt Fakhoury for a free ove the phone case review for immediate answers.  You can also get more information at XpungeChicago.com

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence offenses are punished to the full extent of the law in Cook County.  Domestic Battery in particular can be charged as a felony or misdemeanor.  Even when charged with a misdemeanor domestic battery, the minimum sentence is a conviction on your record.  The consequences of such a conviction and the stigma associated with it can affect your chances of getting a job, entering the military, and even beginning a new relationship.  Attorney Matt Fakhoury defends many clients accused of domestic battery and offers the aggressive defense of taking the case to trial or negotiating a reduced charge and favorable settlement for his clients.  Call Our Office For a Free Case Review!
